In most cases, a dump truck utilizing an electric over hydraulic dump system, has a hand held remote with a wire that is connected through the cab of the truck to the hydraulic power unit. These types of remotes are usually large in size and will not offer the freedom that the wireless remote system can. The Dump Truck remote units are very durable and can take a lot of weather abuse. There are three main types of dump truck power unit controls, 3 solenoid power up/power down, 2 solenoid power up/power down, and 2 solenoid power up/gravity down, we provide remote controls for all three applications. For 3 solenoid power up/ power down applications we have the PD UNIT PT#(TR2P-PD) and for 2 solenoid power up/power down, and power up/gravity down applications we have the G UNIT PT#(TR2P-G).
Programming: Up to 15 different remotes can be programmed to one receiving unit, this feature allows Dump Trucks to be operated by multiple remotes, or if someone should lose a remote, the
replacement and programming of a new remote very simple to do. Waterproof: The Dump Truck remote system is totally waterproof, and can take a lot of physical abuse. Quick erase remotes: All of the Dump Truck remotes that have been programmed to a receiving unit can be erased from the receiver’s
memory by holding the button down on the receiver unit for ten seconds. Small package: The Dump Truck remote units have been made as compact as possible using the latest in SMT RF technology. Multiple voltage range: These units are sold as either a 12 volt ac/dc system or a 24 volt ac/dc system, making it adaptable to most Dump Trucks.
